"I have had the privilege of working with Brian Rushing for the past three years.  Having first met him while I was coaching collegiate women's basketball, as our public address announcer he brought an air of excitement and enthusiasm that was unparallel at that level.  Having assumed the title of Director of Athletics Marketing and Promotions at the University of South Carolina Upstate, my first call was to Brian Rushing to secure him as our primary "Voice of the Spartans" as we entered into NCAA Division I play.  Without question he is a difference maker on the microphone.  Our students and general fans alike have come to expect the fun atmosphere Brian helps create each time he unleashes one of his famous crowd pleasing one liners.  We are truly fortunate to have a voice like his at Upstate.  My favorite question from our Atlantic Sun Conference foes and officiating crews?  "Wow Katie, where did you get this guy?  He's fantastic!"
